Etheric double

The term "etheric double" or "astral double" has several similar meanings:
- Aetheric aura around a physical body of a living person.
- The double, as such, is connected to the original physical body by an aetheric "silver cord". This double is usually created and maintained by the powers of the original body, using a natural property of the matrix (DNA) replication. The aetheric energy and consciousness exist in both bodies, but the attention is partially or fully switched to the double.
- Etheric body (ghost), to which the consciousness is completely tied after the physical body death.
Victor Korshunov (Russian) is the known aetheric traveler.
The astral double allows the consciousness to travel within the metaphysical space-time, where the strict metrics (dimension, distance and time rate) do not exist.
