The color has “temperature” (red – hot, green – neutral, blue – cold).

The red and green colors can be distinguished by the coarsest vision, for example, with poor illumination. In this case the blue and green colors may be indistinguishable. For example, Japanese language has the following basic colors:

kuro Darkness.
ao Cold green, blue, violet.
aka Warm color of the rising sun.
shiro Yellow or white afternoon sun (full spectrum).

The yellow color has the unique properties:

  • It looks brighter than other colors of the same intensity, and it looks like the white color when the vision is coarse, for example, with high contrast or brightness.
  • It’s synthesized by mixing the red and green colors, overlapping them.

The blue color complements the red and green colors up to the well known triple set of the basic colors (RGB), which synthesize any visible color by a different mixing. The violet (blue-red) color shows that the visible spectrum is an octave. I.e. the red tone of the next octave is above the violet tone. Really, the boundary frequencies and wavelengths of the visible spectrum differ almost exactly in 2 times.

The image information could not be lost after its scaling, translation or variation in motion speed. The image information is contained in its shape topology and its relative dimensions along the axes of the abstract space-time.

The oscillations and waves is the basis of topology.

A flat outline is shaped by two orthogonal oscillations (Lissajous curve). A static outline is shaped only by the multiples of frequency.

Oscillations Outline
in-phase of the same shape Line.
harmonic of the same frequency Circle or ellipse.
symmetric (odd functions of time) Shape with an even number of symmetry axes.
symmetric + asymmetric Shape with an odd number of symmetry axes or an asymmetric shape.

The natural flat outlines are shaped by the oscillations of radius in the polar coordinates.

Oscillation of radius Outline
harmonic Rose.
linear ramp Archimedean spiral.
exponential ramp Logarithmic spiral.

A solid of revolution is generated by rotation of a flat figure around an axis in the figure plane.

Generating figure Solid
line Cylindrical or conical pipe.
circle Sphere or torus.
oscillations in rotation Symmetric biological body (radial or bilateral).

The level of detail (acutance, sharpness) of an image is the relative bandwidth and the higher harmonics level. The first harmonic (fundamental frequency) represents only a circle, an ellipse(-oid), a ball or a torus. The rounded corners look more natural, as they do not require infinite bandwidth.
